5 Things Housekeepers Should Always Avoid

Decades ago only few could afford housekeepers, but now things have changed now an almost everyone has a housekeeper. It is one of the most responsible jobs. One of the prime task for a housekeeper is to maintain her credibility and build her trust.

With all the working couples it is harder to maintain office and home. They often find it difficult to do household things. In such circumstances, they usually hire a housekeeping service. Selecting someone for housekeeping is one of the toughest tasks to do. You are handing over your property to her. A client would always doubt housekeeper.

One of the basic task for a housekeeper is to build trust and credibility. Her action would speak louder than her words. Housekeeping is one of the oldest practices in the world. Here is the list of things you should avoid 


Always knock the door
It depends on the temperament of the client if he provides the housekeeper separate keys or wants her to clean the house in their presence. One of the basic human behavior is always knocked the doors before you enter. It helps in building a trust. Knocking is nothing but a pictorial representation of your manners.

If you enter without knocking and you would see something which would make you and your client uncomfortable. So it is always better to knock before you enter.


   
Avoid Argument 

You should always avoid any conflict or argument with your employer. There is one rule in housekeeping that needs to be followed. No matter how sure you are about your skills but make sure that boss is always right.

If your employer has given your instruction about anything, it is compulsorily for you to follow.

 
Avoid things which you find:
 While cleaning it is common and possible that you might come across anything which your employer had missed or left in hurry. You should always return that. It will help you to build a good reputation and it will create a sense of honesty and will develop long work relation.
If you find anything you should always leave it at a place where you make sure that when your employer returns home, he should be able to find it.     

Keep your conversation short

It is well-known fact that sensible lot always talks less. You should always keep your conversation shot with your client. Housekeeping is a profession and your relations should be professional. There is no harm in the conversation but that should be related to your job.
   
Always work passionately

You should never feel bored or fed up if you see the house is filthy you should always perform your assigned duty.
